Spacious and very clean room with fridge & kettle. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we enjoyed having coffee in the morning seating in the balcony overlooking the palm trees and lots of little birds. The staff was very polite and very efficient. The hotel is 5 minuets walk to the city centre. Overall we had a great stopover.

super helpful owners. they helped with organizing transport to bantey cchmar, helped with finding a shared taxi to poipet and recommended a good palce to eat. everything you need for a stopover in sisophon!

I stayed in a twin room (w/ fan) at about 11 USD per night (mid December). You can stay in Serey Sophorn comfortably without A/C in December. ◆The hotel locates in about a 15 minutes walk from Serey Sophorn's bus terminal. The room rate is cheap but the hotel has a decent formality. The receptionists are very helpful and some of them speak English. ◆Serey Sophorn is a nice city. Siem Reap has become too touristic, and Poipet is confusing. A stay in Serey Sophorn is more calm than either city. You can enjoy a rustic staying in a local city of Cambodia. ◆To stay in Serey Sophorn as a base for visiting Banteay Chhmar is certainly a good choice. Some sharing taxi cab are waiting around Chamkako Market where is the origin of Route 56 towards Banteay Chhmar. You can also hire a tuk-tuk (around 30USD) or taxi cab (around 40USD) at private. ◆Since there are not many restaurants near the hotel, you should go to around Serey Saphorn Market which is in a 10 minutes walk.

Fine friendly facility in a generally foreigner - free town . An excellent comfortable base from which to visit Banteay Chhmar , which is well worth the effort and cost . The hotel arranged a car with a very good driver for $45 for the day - trip there. $50 is apparently the going rate !

Location just as you enter Sisophon from Poi Pet. The small holy mountain is out of the hotel and turn left. Nice plaza nearby on road direction to Siem Reap where adults and teens dance and rollerblade too, the small holy mountain, and some pleasant mosques down by the river and a fun and rickety bridge. Also found a swimming pool that I'll try and use next time in parallel road behind the Botoum hotel main entrance. Maybe 7 minutes walk away. My twin beds room had small but pleasant small balcony. I stayed 2 nights.
