    Stupa Veiw is a great location. Rooms are not overlooking the Boudha Stupa but the rooftop terrace is. Go early for breakfast to get a great veiw though. Helpful, friendly staff. Lovely clean, spacious rooms, a pleasure to stay here.

    The online information is very misleading. Not one room has a view of the stupa. All but three rooms have no window to the exterior - they have a window into an enclosed hallway. The room I was given was small, dark, stuffy with no air con. Had to ask for a fan. They moved me the next night to one of the three rooms that have real windows - certainly better. Room was clean but shower didn't work in either room. Nobody at the desk when I discovered that the room was unbearably hot - had to ask the security guard who searched for a fan and eventually called a staff person

    The room was very clean and comfortable, and location, right on the central circle around Boudhanath Stupa, was amazing. There is a rooftop cafe/restaurant with a fabulous view of the stupa. Excellent value for money, given the location.

    The location close to Boudha Stuoa and the view from the roof terrace were wonderful - sacred area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was cosy and simple but no window to outside. Great breakfast!

    My third stay at this hotel, I feel it can't be beaten for a cultural experience in Kathmandu. What a location! Although rooms do not have a Stupa view, the breakfast terrace overlooks the imposing Stupa with its prayer flags fluttering and Tibetan pilgrims passing below on their devotional circuits. Wonderful to watch, feels like part of a vanished era. Pleasant reception staff (not always present) and good security on front door (round the clock). Lots of interesting shops and eating places in vicinity.

    We visited the rooftop terrace of this place during our visit to Boudha, and enjoyed the location and view so much that we decided to stay here for two nights. The breakfast was nice, and it tasted even better with the amazing view! Their momo's, lassi and hot lemon with honey are a must try. The room was alright, sometimes a bit noisy as it was next to the hallway.
