En 2005 se le concedió el título al mejor hotel de Eslovaquia dada su dedicación a ofrecer a sus huéspedes un ambiente tranquilo y agradable.
Muchas personas optan por venir al AquaCity en invierno para practicar esquí y deportes de invierno y, al mismo tiempo, disfrutar de las piscinas climatizadas, los spas y las saunas del establecimiento. En verano, los huéspedes visitan el complejo para disfrutar de las instalaciones del parque acuático y del lujo de los hoteles y sus alrededores. Sin embargo, el AquaCity tiene mucho más que ofrecer aparte de sus instalaciones. Se encuentra en uno de los paisajes más impresionantes de Europa y ofrece la posibilidad de practicar numerosas actividades en los alrededores.

Spa facilities, pools were amazing and better than any I have visited. Close to Airport and Tatra mountains. Excellent value for money. Good for families and couples alike. All the staff were brilliantl. -

Beautiful wellness & spa. You can go in and out the spa zone as many times you need, not restricted to one entry, as others have. Perfect stay for couple. Arrive as early as you can, since wellness is valid only for check in day, not for check out day. -

For all the little foibles of the room it was a very practical set up with good storage and decent size even if used as a family. The staff were friendly and with some being especially smiley and helpful. The wellness centre and aquapark are amazing things to have right on your doorstep. The food was good and enough choice at dinner and breakfast - although pretty limited if you are a vegetarian/vegan I imagine. I have been visiting Poprad for about 18 years and go to the Aquapark every year with my children which says something about how good it is. Each time I have wondered about the hotel and thought it would be a lovely treat for my wife and I to have a couple of days away from the family on our anniversary. We enjoyed our stay and the ease of going too and from the wellness centre, swimming and room was fantastic. Over all I would recommend the hotel and maybe I will return with my wife for our 20th anniversary.
