    Fabuloso hotel boutique , se encuentra solo en una Bahia con bellisimas vistas de las montanas, cascadas y el glaciar. Toque personal, excelente restaurant y decoracion apropiada. MUY RECOMNDABLE, el major hotel que visitamos en Islandia

    The hotel was in fab location one view overlooking beach, sea, black church and other views were mountains Loved quietness of hotel Loved quaintness and antique furniture, paintings, stuffed animals, Staff all very attentive, informative, many staff from europe and easy to chat with Very friendly staff Night porter helped us with luggage at 530am as we had to leave v early for airport We had dinner which was very special and enjoyed chefs 3 course A la Carte special which was amazing Shellfish soup, lamb fillet and mixed fruit and mousse Delicious compliments Many nooks and crannies where you could sit and relax Only 20 bedrooms Top hotel

    Good Hotel but expensive, even for icelandic standards. The restaurant is worthy of its reputation. Guess that needs a little bit of interior renovation in the rooms (shower). Location and views (including the building of the hotel itself) are amazing.

    The hotel is in a secluded area with only the Búðakirkja (church) next to it. We had a room at the top floor with direct view on the church. The lobby and bar area felt like being in a living room. Great location to explore the Snæfellsjökull national park.

    The restaurant is amazing ! Food was excellent and staff particularly friendly. The view from the rooms and from the bar is stunning. Rooms were nice and clean.

    This is a hidden gem - I would come back to the Snafellsness peninsula just to stay in this hotel again. The view all around is breathtaking - you have it all - the glacier, the magnificent mountains and a waterfall, lava fields and the black rocky beaches hidden behind pink sand dunes. Do not miss the hike behind the hotel and do it before 10am to have a complete solitude from tourists. The bar has the best view on the planet and a great selection of cocktails and wines (even by the glass, try their Rjoha). The restaurant serves Michelin quality food for dinner (interesting lamb tartar if you never tried) and the best breakfast we have seen in any hotel in Iceland.

    Amazing hotel in awesome peaceful location by the sea. Our room and bed was very comfortable and tasteful. The dinner in the restaurant was amazing and the breakfast was great. The staff in the restaurant was very kind and welcomed our roaming toddler. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the calm place and the beach close by a bit longer.
