    Cama con mosquitera, con salón separado donde leer o escribir a los pies del Mekong. Ducha y lavabo separado! Y agua caliente. Vistas buenas. Personal muy agradable. Buena cocina (desayuno y cena).

    The location of the guesthouse is amazing! Perfect for chilling out and looking and the picturesque view. Just a couple of restaurants in the village and really easy to go see the dolphins. Staff really helpful and friendly. Will answer any questions and helped us book our bus to Cambodia- brilliant chilled out stay!!!

    This is a very small guesthouse in a quiet and remote village on Don Khone, designed to ensure a comfortable stay while blending with the local environment. It is not for those looking for a party scene or for all western style conveniences. But for those seeking peace and comfort in an authentic local environment on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Mekong river, it is really hard to beat. The owners are warm and attentive hosts with a clear vision of the kind of experience they aim to share with their guests.

    Additional sitting room with view over the river, very peaceful and calm, swimming spot directly from the guest house, live terrace restaurant, very helpful friendly staff and free water refills!

    Beautiful setting. Huge veranda looking out over Mekong and Cambodia on other side. Very helpful owner who organised my onward travel. Cycles to rent nearby. Waterfalls and town all in cycling distance.

    It’s a perfect place if you want to enjoy the Mekong without tourists and bars or parties. The guesthouse is really romantic with friendly staff and a good kitchen. We spent here the Christmas and they prepared special meal (fish and even chocolate cake!) and also a lovely boat tour to a little island in the middle of Mekong, so we could swim and enjoy the sunset.

    Food was outstanding and amazing value. Local staff were lovely. And the view from the balcony of the Tamarind House was absolutely stunning.

    I stayed in Pomelo Guesthouse for 3 days in November with a group of three friends. We loved everything in this place! The owner, Oliva, is super friendly and helpful, and did everything to make us feel at home; in the rooms there are booklets to help you plan your visit to the island. The guesthouse is in a very calm location, in the extreme south of Don Khon, with a small beach by the Mekong. The food is amazing and reasonably priced, the rooms are very spacious and thoughtfully designed. I definitely recommend this guesthouse for your vacations!

    If you are looking for a really cozy and quite place, surrounded by nature, in which you can relax and enjoy the spirit of the island this is the place for you. Staff is really nice and helpful and food is excellent.
