    Rambutan Resort is a small-is eco-resort in a stylish part of Phnom Penh (remember, the French built the city). Building on its original sister Rambutan in Siem Reap the owners place strong value on good design, airy spaces, a green pool (no chlorine), quite large well-designed rooms/apartments - all with garden outlooks and some with totally private gardens + outdoor bath. The owners have strong commitments to well-prepared Khmer and European food, to natural products and recycling - and also in training their local staff, including sending them to English classes and providing them with extended family assistance initiatives - so they are all very happy and willing.

    The staff was dedicated and very helpful in so many ways. It was our 34th anniversary as I mentioned in my booking as we wanted a nice room for the occasion, and they had put out flower petals on the bed spelling out happy anniversary; we were so touched! The breakfast was excellent and so were the meals. The staff went out of their way to help with restaurants, onward connections, arranging tuk-tuks, etc and we were very pleased. Food for the free breakfast and for lunch and dinner was excellent.

    Great social entreprise with friendly staff, a nice saltwater pool and outdoor bath tubs in the rooms on the upper floors.

    This is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a good area walking distance to Bassac Lane and close to BKK markets. The breakfasts were delicious and the salt water swimming pool was lovely for lazing about. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool which was spacious and comfortable.

    The location was great. Easy Tuk-Tuk to anywhere you need to go. A sanctuary from the chaos of the streets. The pool was great. The food was great. Enough selection for breakfast to keep it changed up over several days. Great laid back ambience. Great massages. Everybody friendly.

    Staff are very nice and friendly. For example my rented moped broke down and a boy from the the car all the way to get my bike back to the hotel and called the rental company The next day I had a replacement waiting for me.

    My husband and I stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of our trip. Rooms are clean and spacious, there is a good shower and our room also had an outdoor bath. Breakfast is good, with good variety of local and international options. Fresh fruit juice, tea and coffee are also available. Hotel location is good, a short tuk tuk ride from the main Phnom Pehn attractions (walking is also possible if not too hot). After sightseeing, we spent the end of the day by the swimming pool, having a fresh fruit juice or a cocktail. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phnom Penh

    The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The hotel is near a busy road, however as soon as you walk into the premises you are transformed into this peaceful and beautiful location. The food is wonderful and for me it was the complete package.

    We liked the welcome drink and the warm introduction from the staff. The hotel layout was most attractive and the ambiance was very good. The breakfast was excellent and we also had dinner on one evening which was very good.
