In a quiet alley. Receptionist is cool. Tours are ok! Price for my double bedroom was a little bit higher than the one on booking though? Good breakfast, though not plenty.

Obee, the owner, is a friendly guy who has lots of information for his guests. The staff members are very efficient and busy around the place but friendly towards guests. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I liked having a veranda right outside my windows and the view over the small houses of the neighbourhood. The location is fantastic with most of the historic centre being only a few minutes' walk away. The night market starts about 50 m away from the front door, and the old royal residence, Phousi Hill, and the ferry landing are all within a few hundred metres. Plenty of eateries for all budgets are nearby as well. But, even though the guesthouse is in a central location, it's lovely and quiet at night. Very hard to beat, I think, and I wouldn't hesitate a minute to book a room here again.
