    The location was great, and the host Alex was very friendly and helpful. The floors were heated but not too much, and we had plenty of bedding and extra towels. The room was large enough for us to spread our bedding and still have space to maneuver around. He also let us use his washer and dryer, which was a huge bonus.

    It was close to where I wanted to be. Walking distance to all touristy places I wanted to visit. The owner was friendly and again, they kept the place really tidy and clean. Hanok was built in the 1930s apparently so for what it's worth, I found it value for my bucks. It was cheap stay and I can't complain. Breakfast is just toast and jam but you can always buy stuff from convenience store. There were couple of them nearby.

    I knew It would not comfortable for me sleeping on the floor. But it was a great experience sleeping the traditional korean way.

    The guesthouse is perfectly located on the entrance of the scenic hanok village, in a cosy, homely traditional house, with a terrace looking over a lovely patio. The host is a very charming and helpful Chinese-Korean couple, so it was possible to operate in Chinese, Korean and English. I had some trouble withdrawing cash with my international debit card for the payment (the guesthouse didn't accept card payment), but the host was patient. Thank you!

    I really liked my stay in this place. The owner is very friendly and actually speaks English, which is rare in South Korea. The house itself is authentic and atmospheric. There are a lot of shops, restaurants and super markets around the property. The room was clean and had its own bathroom.

    We had a great time at Sosohan Hanok! Alex was a very nice host and showed us where to get food and which places to visit in Jeonju. Everything was very clean and the guest house is conveniently located at the edge of the hanok village. Would definitely come again!
