The value for the price is good for what you get. Even my room was a standard double room, it was big enough, with a table and chairs. The aircon worked well and there was also a television with international channels and HBO movies. They give you towels and free water. Also free tea and coffee all day. The location is very centric, a few meters to the biggest supermarket in Luang Prabang (inside Dara Market), and close to the night market and center (5 minute walk). Breakfast is simple and you can choose scrambled egg, fried egg or omelette, with bread or toast. But is good. The first day after eating the toasts the girl brought me more in case I wanted, which I appreciated. The family who manages the guesthouse is very nice. Even the communication is difficult, the woman is always with a smile in her face.

Overall experience was ok for the inexpensive price (double bed, A/C, private bathroom ~80.000 kipp per night). Breakfast was ok, too (eggs/omelet on toast; free water/tea/coffee all day). Room was spacious. Under 10min walk to the night market and under 5 min walk to the next bigger supermarket.

Free water refills all day in the dining room. Free bananas available all day. Provided vegan fried rice even though not on the standard breakfast menu.

Tricky to find with basic accommodation and hard beds, you'll however be very well fed, with hot showers available and blankets to keep you warm. I highly recommend eating and drinking rice wine with the owners and you'll have right there an unforgettable experience. So eager to please and share, I guarantee you'll be touched by their generosity.
