Santorini is like Venice - excessive tourism. Still stunning, and worth a visit. So it was a joy to return to the sanctuary of Amor. The caretakers are discrete, leave the villas spotless , and genuinely want to make your stay comfortable. Thank you Vasili for making our stay comfortable.

The beds were very comfortable. The pool was excellent and very private. We liked the style of the villa, which was modelled on a cave dwelling. It was very quiet at night. Housekeeping were there everyday and happy to clean the villa, including washing up. They were true to their save water message and did not replace the towels when they were hung up. The agent met us on arrival, gave us information and assisted with organising both a hire car and a laundry service.

The privacy, the pool, the two floors, the outside spaces were all fabulous. The cleaners and gardening staff were really friendly and very good too.

It was clean, a lot of space and we were able to relax. The staff was really friendly. There was fresh fruits waiting for us as well as complimentary water bottles. We really enjoyed the location, which was approximately 5 minutes from Fira by car, in the country side (you really need a car, if you want to explore the island).

The villa was clean looked like new, modern fixtures and design. The staff was prompt. The place was peaceful. Yalos a very nice restaurant is close by.

It is exactly what you need if you want relaxed holiday. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was brilliant, very helpful and friendly! Villa was cleaned every day. We were 6 people (3 couples) and it was great fit for us. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to make breakfast or lunch in villa. It has nice sitting area outside by pool, so we really enjoyed to eat outside when we just wanted to stay in villa and not going out. It is better if you rent a car as it is a bit far from centre. However it was easy to order taxi for 6 people for us. Price to Thira is about 10-15eur, to Oia 30eur for all 6, so it was easier for us. We stayed first few days in other hotel in Thira which was nice, but this villa was definitely better choice, quiet, no public, just perfect for relaxed holiday with friends or family!
