    I loved my stay. Spacious room with kitchenette and separate bedroom. Basic, but vey clean and comfortable. The host Kai was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. In a very small alley opposite a temple but just 5 minutes walk from Mekong river, nightmarket and shops and restaurants. Will definately come back!

    Very good location, near to the river and various bars and restaurants. Apartment was not really set up for self catering, but the manager kindly offered access to the main kitchen, and provided kitchen utensils on request. The roof terrace was lovely, and overlooks a lovely temple. The bed was comfy, and the shower was really good - best we had in Laos. Air conditioning was very effective.

    The owner is so lovely and helpful, he even gave me a lift to my appointment at the embassy because he was driving that way already (also speaks perfect English). The room was great, it's huge with a separate kitchen/dining area, which made it feel really homey - perfect if you're staying for a longer period. Free use of the bike, though I didn't use it, and water provided were also nice touches. Comfy bed, hot shower, TV, amazing location on a quiet street yet within a few minutes walk of the river and the night market. For this price you can't get better (any cheaper rooms I found were either hostel dorms or hotel rooms without windows). I would definitely choose to stay at AO again next time I'm in Vientiane. :)

    Location is ideal. Very central for good food and drink, but still quiet down an alley facing a beautiful and peaceful temple. The 2nd and 3rd floors have great view. Appreciate the water refill to avoid one-use plastic.

    The staff are really friendly. Guy at the reception was really helpful, and speaks brilliant English. Quite easy to locate, like anything in Vientiane to be honest, so getting there will be no problem at all. I paid AUD40 for two nights, and I believe this is great value for money!
