Location was good. Hotel is good, rooms clean, bed firm and comfy, bathroom good. Lift is a bit scary. Breakfast is good but limited.

I had a medical emergency while staying at the Iris. The staff was wonderful! Quote: “We are like a family here and you are part of our family.” The staff is not overbearing. If you make requests ir otherwise interact my experience is they are lovely.

I really liked the friendliness of all the staff, they made me feel like family, were always willing to accommodate me and were genuinely interested in chatting with me. I also met the owners Christos and Irini who were also very hands on and keen to know if I had any complaints. The breakfast was buffet, with a great selection of fresh fruit and mostly homemade food and yummy freshly homemade cakes. Breakfast was certainly served with love, attention to detail and constantly topped up. My room was serviced daily without any issues. The common areas, reception, breakfast area and lifts were spotless. The metro which I used daily was less than 5 minutes walk and only 4 stops away from Sindagma and 5 stops from Monastiraki. The staff always greeted everyone with a smile.

The hotel is situated very close to the railway station, not more than a 5-minutes walk. It is nice-looking, modern and clean. The breakfast was simple (cheese, ham, cereals, yoghurt) but tastty. The best thing about the hotel was its staff. The receptionist was really very helpful and friendly. She helped me a lot, when I asked her to translate the intercity bus timetable for me, she didn't only do that, but also called the bus office and found out the exact timetable. I greatly appreciate her help.

Second time in the hotel in the last 4 months. Very attentive management - they read and respond to every review. Last time they had bad coffee - fixed. Breakfast variety - fixed (I would add tzatziki for a Greece flavor). Excellent front desk personal. Very convenient location - near train (direct connection to the airport) and metro (4 stations to the city center). Comfortable beds.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, everything incredibly new, big sized bathroom, all toiletries, 2 free water bottles in a fridge... Professional and very helpful staff at the reception. BREAKFAST was just AMAZING!!! Freshly baked spanakopitas, various cakes, yoghurts, cornflakes, 3 types of juices, ham, sausages... Unbelievalbly good!!! WE RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE WHO COME S TO ATHENS, IT IS A GEM!!! The National Archeological Museum is only 15 min walk from hotel and the main TRAIN STATION is 5 min walk!!! Great value and amazing service!!

The 24/7 concierges were fluent in English and very helpful. They helped with booking changes and were able to answer all my questions. When my card key failed, they quickly replaced it. And the free breakfasts were a big plus.
