The staff was very warm and friendly. The guest house is decorated in an eclectic bohemian style that is very cozy and warm. The shared kitchen has all you need to prepare a quick meal. The balcony is a great place to look down at the street and enjoy a cold beverage. The neighborhood is amazing- several little restaurants, shops, and a little cafe on the corner with board games to play. Very fun and safe neighborhood. 2 blocks from a metro station and away from the bustle of the center of Athens.

It had all the best things I always loved about hostels, colourful, informal, friendly and cosy. You can help yourself to bits in the kitchen, beautifully decorated with vibrant colours. You can sit about in the lounge and chat to other guests and the hosts. Bedrooms are like a boutique hotel, each invidually styled with lots of cosy lamps. They even had a wonderful diffuser so the room had a wonderful faint smell to it. It’s a lovely small place so not much noise and at 5 floors up not much traffic noise. A very quiet building.

Esthetic, artistic flare. David and his wife greeted and welcomed us and helped us take our luggage up the elevator. They have a flare for creative décor.

I loved My stay at Athina Design. - Nice People. - Clean and comfortable rooms with each one having a unique design. - Minimalistic but great facilities such as a bathtub, a free to use kitchen and a balcony for every room. - Great location, the Subway that leads straight to the airport is just around the corner and it's just 150 meters away from a park and a pretty large shopping street, and the supermarket is just about 300 meters away. You have everything just around you.

Everything!! This place was so nice and welcoming. Large sized rooms, clean, cozy and comfortable. I wish we had stayed in our first 3 days in Athens. It’s like an upper class hostel-not a party place. Definitely recommend Athens Design, and will definitely be back.

Very nice hosts, a real oasis in the middle of the city. Really enjoyed how much effort was put into any detail, really felt to be home. It will truly stay one of the nicest places ever visited.

Very clean, and importantly very comfortable bed. Location was ideal, only 100 metres from the metro with a direct line to the airport. The management were super helpful, informative, and above all good people. Very good value for money.
