    Everything was amazing! I would thank Rafaelle for warm welcome and great breakfast she prepared for us! The room itself (we lived in Loft) is spacious and has everything we need: huge bed, TV, fridge, balcony, bathroom, etc. The building is historical, but in perfect condition.

    The welcome of the host was great despite arriving quite late - really nice chat and I was given the slightly larger suite rather than the loft. Amazing room with bath and shower, all open plan and very central, only a 5min stroll to the main square - parking outside is street parking and free from 6pm-9am - you can pay by card for the morning already in the evening in case you don't want to get up to feed the pay machine... Wonderful breakfast with cold meats and cheese, freshly squeezed orange juice, home made fruit salad - fresh bread and freshly made crepes together with a choice of eggs

    The proprietor was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and gave us lots of tips about places to visit as well as restaurants. The rooms are fantastic; beautifully designed and very well appointed. The breakfast is very generous - fresh made pan cakes a real treat!!

    The decor of the hotel was of high standard, especially enjoying the huge bath tub! Raphaëlle was an incredible host, making us feel very welcome. She gave recommendations of the local area, our breakfast was fantastic and even gave us a parting gift of home made apple juice! :-)

    This room had everything one could expect from a b&b: friendly hosts, everything in the room new and clean, large comfortable bed and bedlinen, a comfy bathtub and a practical shower, plus it is located in the centre of the town!

    De kamer was groot en heel mooi. Ontwerp, inrichting en afwerking zijn van grote klasse. Een verrassing. De ligging was uitstekend. Op korte wandelafstand van de Leie en het centrum. En dan nog een innemende en enthousiaste gastvrouw met uitstekende adviezen.

    both continental and american breakfast offered. all quality good. gluten free options as well. the hostess is very friendly and offered all sorts of suggestions as to what to visit and where to go. I had a beautiful tub in my room as well as a shower. great wooden floors. i used kartijt as a base to go to ghent and bregge (bruges). train prices are very low and kartijt is much more tranquil than bruges and has some great restaurants.
