We were greeted by the lovely owners who were very helpful and provided us with useful information about the area. Inside the barge was stunning. We were in awe of the vessel which the owners call their home and open to travellers. We would love to think that some day we could achieve a similar lifestyle. The bedroom was perfect for a couple such as ourselves who were only staying for a short stay with our backpacks. The bed was sooo comfy and the en suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we were very impressed with the homemade food. We really did not want to leave. The vessel was quiet in addition to its surroundings and we enjoyed the peace. The owners were also helpful in allowing us to leave our backpacks safely with them after our check out time as our train was later in the day and we wanted to explore the city without our luggage.

Exactly as the pictures and descriptions would have you believe. Lovely place to stay, perfect for a two night visit to Bruges. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful, beds very comfortable, shower facilities excellent, breakfast great.

Beautifully restored barge, with extremely hospitable and friendly hosts. Delicious, generous breakfast, comfortable room, easy walk into town. Everything you could want for your stay...can't recommend this property highly enough.

Excellent hosts, cabins comfy & adequate, shower fantastic. Breakfast freshly prepared every morning including cereals, fruit, yogurt. breads & jams with optional omelette. Pushbikes available for hire. 15 Minute walk to center of Brugge.
