    Very nice house in a wooded suburban area, friendly hosts, excellent breakfast served to the room, 10 minutes walk into centre of Leiden. Would definitely stay here again for longer to visit Leiden, a beautiful city.

    We had the room on the second floor, which meant we had the floor for us. The room was large with a small sitting area and table and chairs for breakfast, very self contained. We left the car parked on the drive and walked into Leiden, only 1km away.

    The Vogelhuis room 3 was a perfect little get away! Everything was so comfortable, clean and cozy. There was a little sitting room and a breakfast table that made it seem like a complete tiny house! Windows let in light, fresh air and birdsongs! The host provided a big, delicious breakfast each morning. We thoroughly recommend this b & b... (there are stairs to climb, but it was no problem for us).

    Jan and Wim were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delivered when we wanted it, not fancy but fresh, filling, and focused on local foods. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. We enjoyed walking through the park and along university buildings to the Centraal Station, the perfect starting point for our daily wanderings along the canals to historical buildings, restaurants, windmills, and gardens. We would definitely stay here again.

    Everything at the B&B is nice: the bedroom and bathroom are clean. A well equipped kitchen (shared) with a fridge and microwave oven. The breakfast is just fabulous. And the host is very nice. I really enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend!
