    Very nice hosts, comfy room, hotel directly by the lake. Very good breakfast (menu, not buffet!)

    Superb location - 1st line from the beach where you can find almost everything you need - lake water (not salty like in Croatia), grass beach with some sand for kids, pools (!), volleyball pitch, playground, toilets, cheap beer, lot of shadow because of trees, benches etc. But you have to remember that during the season (July-August) it's paid - 700HUF (about 2EUR) per adult per day - but it's worth. Close to the train station where you can do the trip to (for example) Keszthely or even Budapest if you want - trains are cheap in Hungary so that's another argument for always bored kids :) Great breakfast, on fresh air, with fresh eggs and tomatoes and everything prepared on demand. Room clean and tidy. Properly noise isolated from other rooms. You can pay by card in the property.

    Best place if you would like to visit Balaton with family/kids or with partner looking for quit place. Breakfast is outside with Balaton view. If you do 2 more steps you get directly to the balaton beach (it is paid, but price is low and services are great (cca 8EUR/4 person family/1 day). It is clean everything, mostly grass and small sandy beach for kids, daily cleaned, there is small swimming pool (110cm) and smaller children swiming pool (20cm?), beach volleyball, football...... several restaurants on the beach (but all silent at 10pm). Penzion offer perfect breakfast (you can choose from menu + many extra wishes like cacao, home made jam,.......rooms are nice, air condition is working well.

    The food and staff were absolutely lovely. Communication was a bit difficult because they didn't speak English (which is fair enough, I was the foreigner). We got through it fine though thanks to Google Translate. Being winter, I had the entire place to myself and nothing was open nearby but it was easy to hop a bus or train and go exploring. Lovely and relaxing holiday :)

    Es un hostal bonito y limpio justo al lado del lago, nada muy interesante pero un buen lugar para pasar 1-3 noches.

    Fue un lugar maravilloso para quedarse. El desayuno es tan bueno que no se necesita comer hasta la noche. Strand cerca. anfitriones, fue genial!
