    What a fabulous gem on our route from Cape Town to Pretoria!!! What a privilege to stay in a Sir Herbert Baker house. Beautiful decorated, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Thank you to our host, Kobus, for making our stay so special. We enjoyed every moment at your place!

    The room was stunning and I loved the fireplace. So cozy and perfect for watching a movie with a nice cup of coffee. The dinner that the host made was amazing with incredible Karoo lamb chops. I would come back for the food alone and the sunset view from the bridge down the road.

    Wow, Im not big into antiques but this was a treat to enjoy. The whole house, including the rooms, display the most incredible antiques. Amazing to step back in time and show the kids grandfather clocks, scales, phones and tea sets. The service from Kobus was exceptional, going above and beyond to assist us with a small dinner braai. The rooms were super comfortable. Only catch is... couples need to be completel content with zero privacy bathrooms. But all in all, an amazing stay. The host suggested drinks on the train bridge to watch the sunset - that is a MUST - it was spectacular!

    Setting was simply wonderful, food excellent (pre-booked dinner was fantastic) and rooms extremely well equipped. House was so beautiful and really good value. Highly recommended

    Good location for a night stop over on the way to the cape, loved the views from the dam especially at night where you could see the stars all around which the host took us to see. Kobus the host was amazing, took us into town for food and drinks, shared some amazing stories and had a wonderful evening. The room was clean and tidy, the house was decorated beautifully almost like a museum. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guest house!
