Bicheno by the Bay offers self-contained holiday cottages, most with Tasman Sea views.

Surrounded by native bushland, Bicheno by the Bay Tasmania is a 3-minute walk from Bicheno town centre, the Blowhole, Whalers Lookout and the Foreshore Footway.

Each of the free-standing timber bungalows has their own kitchen, bathroom, separate bedrooms and lounge room. All have a private terrace off the lounge room and main bedroom.

The motel-style rooms include electric blankets, heating, flat-screen TV and DVD player. Each has a spacious modern bathroom with shower, plus a private terrace.

Facilities include a heated outdoor pool, full-size tennis court and a children’s playground.

    Fantastic view over the bay. With helpful staff with lots of useful information on where to go and visit. Even seen some penguin from the villa

    Excellent location. Short distance to the Blow hole. Easy access to watch the sunrise. Accommodation is more like a bush cabin. Both rooms are upstairs while toilets is downstairs.

    We stayed in the cheapest accommodation there, the motel part, and had a lovely room with a relaxing balcony overlooking a "canoe pond" with a little fountain, Went to sleep listening to the crickets. Right next door to a walk up to a lookout point and not far from the blow hole which was fantastic. Terrific Italian Pizza restaurant close by, Pasinis, as well as a few shops and an IGA. Stayed only one night but this would be a spot that I would rather have stayed longer.

    The bungalow was recently renovated and was beautiful. It had a fully equipped kitchen, the bed comfy with an great view of the ocean. The location was very quiet.
