    Warm welcome. Food was great. Friendly person's all the time good housekeeping. Peaceful and relaxing

    Breakfast was excellent. It was clean and comfortable and lovely large room. This is not a criticism, but a suggestion, to make geusts feel more welcome, leave a couple of small chocolates as a welcome present. They made us feel special by remembering that my partner liked de- caffinated coffee, and that i liked Dilmah tea and it was made available in our room. Really good job.

    The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food very good. The staff even took us on ride to show the town free of charge.

    The owner and his family gave us the warmest welcome. They made us feel at home! The guest house is cosy, furnished with great taste, clean and quiet. The food (both for dinner and for breakfast) is delicious and everyone is very genuinely friendly.

    The host Ade and wife Jill were absolutely amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make our stay very special. The restaurant food was delicious. On my first night I mentioned to Ade that I've never had the opportunity to taste the famous Waterblommetjiebredie (small water flower stew) and that was on my to do list for this trip. The next day Jill went out of her way to buy the Waterblommetjie so that I could have this amazing dish for dinner - I can say it was well prepared and delicious. That to me was very special. Thank you Ade and Jill I will recommend your Guest Lodge to anyone who wants to visit this lovely village of Arniston. If I ever again have the opportunity to come back I will definitely stay here again.

    I had a most amazing stay at the Guesthouse. Jill and Ade are excellent hosts and made sure that my stay was very comfortable. The guesthouse itself is fitted with all amenities which includes a very strong hairdryer (most needed). Restaurant menu is also very good with quite a few choices.I would highly recommend a stay here.

    Loved the feel, the colours, the fluffy towels, the big bathroom, the neatness, efficiency, friendliness, Overall really great and would happily return! Had less than 24 hours there so hopefully longer next time!

    The room with it's spaciousness,the adjacent garden with bird feeder and loungers;the swimming pool,the decor ;the bathroom the staff and the hospitality.The food was absolutely fabulous!
