A very cosy sort of place. Excellent breakfast and a very nice meal last night. Friendly staff and excellent beer.

Rooms a very good size, quirky stairs to the second floor, good choice for breakfast, both cooked and continental. All staff pleasant and helpful. Beds firm, shower good, location good we were there to attend hever triathlon. "Village" good size, more like a town compared to village that I reside in. Private carpark, although a bit tricky to find in the dark.

The breakfast was freshly made to order, very quick and tasty. The location is in the town so the local pubs and shops on the door step. The bar downstairs is very nice and popular with the locals, there was a live band on Sat night which was great fun and a bonus for us. There is also a nice sunny beer garden at the front and ample parking for most guests I would imagine. The breakfast was not to early either so that suited us as we had a late night.

The room and towels were clean and the breakfast was really nice.

Food was fine; staff were helpful and friendly. Room was very clean but a bit tired and could do with some TLC. Bedding good and bed was comfortable, so slept well. Room was on ground floor at the back of the hotel and it was quiet from about 11.00 PM and overnight. The Car Park is at the back of the hotel over a little bridge. There is a sign saying no access to hotel and reception on the door at the back, which makes you walk all the way round the side of the building and across the front of the pub area to the Reception, but if it is raining then ignore this and go through the door, which goes straight into the restaurant and the door to the rooms is on your right, so stash your bags there then walk up through the bar! Definitely use it to take your luggage out the next day.

Hotel was fine both in terms of comfort & cleanliness. Breakfast was good, quickly served and well cooked. Evening meals were OK. Staff friendly, courteous and welcoming. Good value.

Reception very helpful about checking in slightly early and sorting account in advance so I could leave before reception opened in the morning
