    Located in the beautiful Cederberg Mountains. Staff very professional and friendly. Special mention and thank you to Pieter the Assistant manager and Duane our guide for the 2 days. Perfect setting, running water and full of wild flowers. Bushman paintings awesome and guides are knowledgeable about them. Restaurant and food excellent. Rooms are comfortable and warmed up for winter. We were upgraded to a suite - was absolutely awesome. Thank you!

    The place is magical and the facilities are gorgeous!! All the staff looks after you and makes you feel at home. A special thanks to Zenobia, our guide that made our stay magical! Her deep knowledge of the reserve, and kindness, made the difference!

    The lodge was like an oasis, the setting was beautiful with rooms set around a lake full of water lilies and animals came down to drink. In the evening we had pre-dinner drinks around a fire pit with the most beautiful night sky full of stars. The food was excellent and very varied. The highlight was the walking safari, our guide ‘Cornie’ was very knowledgeable and took us to see the many bushmans cave drawings in the area and the wonderful colours of the rocks.

    Half an hour from ClanWilliam you will find this gem. Prime example of conservation of fynbos. Be sure to try their 3 hikes since you will have to burn the calories of their tasty hot breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner. Martin as your field guide is an absolute must. Morgan makes every meal special. Beatrice runs the food department marvellous. Be sure to ask Nicholas about accompanying wine. ​

    Everything from another planet - we enjoyed every second of time. Our private guide made it just perfect. Out of 1-10 a clear 12! His explanation of fauna and flora and rock art have been exciting. He loves „his“ nature- and so do we now!

    Este no es un típico "lodge" sino un retiro, como su nombre sugiere. Podrá relajarse, caminar, disfrutar de tratamientos de spa y leer un libro. Nivel de servicio, calidad de la comida excelente. La atención al detalle lo más impresionante.
