    Breakfast was great. I loved the super strong marmalade but some may find it a little too sharp. Wonderful melon. Location was wonderful. We visited last year as day guests and came back to stay. The owner may appear austere but is much friendlier once you chatted to him and his young relative was very friendly. Other staff suffered from a lack of English, so while trying to help they did not always understand. Our room (13) had lovely views and a large balcony (photos show views from balcony). It was a lovely stay and way better than last year when we stayed at the Pirat.

    Room very spacious and bed comfortable. The rooms are basic but clean. If you are going to stay at Caretta you need to bear in mind the incredibly good value. If you want luxury this is not the place for you but if you want amazing views and content with a simple room you cannot fault caretta . Great location with a 10 min walk into main town.

    Lovely welcoming greeting from this family run hotel located in a fantastic quiet location of Kalkan. Super setting for swimming and views of the sea. Our 2nd visit in a couple of years. Lovely Turkish breakfast and lovely attentive staff. Thanks Caretta .We will back for sure

    The location is terrific, a short walk from the marina, bars and restaurants, the rooms comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet absolutely superb. The price of drinks and food, in common with the whole of Kalkan, are high, in line with U.K. prices.

    We really enjoyed our stay at the family run Caretta hotel, its a perfect place to be based for exploring Kalkan and the surrounding region. The family & staff were always friendly and very helpful and we enjoyed the small friendly feel of the hotel. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the harbor of Kalkan (with its many restaurants / bars) and next to the sea with stunning views, which was perfect for us. Breakfast was tasty and our room was as we expected, basic but with everything we needed - aircon, cleaned every other day, towels changed, beach towels provided, plenty large enough & with a wardrobe.

    The view from our room was amazing and we loved that we could sea in the sea at our hotel. We were only a 10 minute walk from town, or we could catch the water taxi (free, supplied by the hotel, so location was great.

    They gave us a Better room then the One we've booked without charge :). Beautiful the "beach" overlooking the Sea! It's a very good place to relax! Good service.

    Staff were very helpful and the hotel has an amazing location with stunning views. Food was absolutely lovely and staff were so accommodating. Definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. Shireen.
