    The location is great. The owners were welcoming and really helpful. They gave me advice on walks nearby. Good coffee and lovely breakfasts. The home cooked Bat Dhal for dinner was delicious. The view of the mountains from my room and the room terrace were beautiful. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

    I spent 30 days in Nepal and stayed in a mix of hotels, tea houses, and guest houses. I chose Casa Mia for a luxury and relaxed end to my trip here. It exceeded my expectations! The building is modern and fresh, the owners friendly and helpful, and the staff exactly the same. It is out of the way from the 'town' so has no traffic noise. It actually felt like home and I ended staying for 4 nights! I was busy planning for a trip to India during my stay and the owners were very understanding of my distraction. If I come back to Nepal and need a chilled, modern, happy place to stay (on the edge of a national park with a great view of the hills) I will return. Also - the breakfast is good !! Thank you to all.

    It's a nice family business, where you really feel personal care and attention. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and hot water pressure is so good and stable as I rarely experienced even in Europe. The internet was surprisingly fast and reliable. This is as close as you can get to the Shivapuri Peak NP, hiking to which is a good way to kickstart your acclimatization.

    We've enjoyed our stay at Casa Mia very much and felt here like being at home away from home. It was a peaceful and much appreciated break from a chaotic and noisy centre of Kathmandu. Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and looked after us very well. The included breakfast was excellent: delicious, healthy and filling, with drink refills included. Lunch and dinners were also very tasty and freshly prepared. The room and bathroom, dining area and the whole place was very clean, tidy, spacious and of a high standard. Mia Casa is a perfect base for exploring the nearby Shivpuri Nagarjun National Park and the local temple. It was great to be able to walk all the way to the park for hikes and to the Green Valley Resort for a lovely lunch outing. We would definitely stay at Mia Casa again and we highly recommend it!
