El Cockatoo Island Accommodation ofrece apartamentos y casas independientes, zonas de camping y tiendas tipo "glamping" junto al puerto de Sídney. Alberga un bar, una cafetería y una pista de tenis.

Esta isla, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, es la única del puerto de Sídney que ofrece alojamiento para pasar la noche. Queda a 20 minutos en ferry de Luna Park Sydney, Circular Quay y el puerto Darling.

Todos los apartamentos y casas tienen baño privado y cocina completamente equipada. La zona de acampada cuenta con cocina compartida y baño compartido. Las tiendas tipo "glamping" disponen de ropa de cama, sábanas, toallas y artículos de aseo. Las tiendas de campaña cuentan con sillas y esterilla para dormir.

El alojamiento también tiene zona de barbacoa, perfecta para disfrutar de una comida al aire libre. En la zona se puede pasear, hacer senderismo y ver la puesta de sol. El ferry para con frecuencia en la isla y ofrece enlaces con la ciudad y excursiones por el río Parramatta.

    Amazing view over Sydney Harbour and bridge - unit very comfortable and well appointed. Very unusual and interesting place to stay - steeped in history.

    A weekend away with no expense nor time wasted with travelling! Cockatoo Island is a perfect getaway and really feels like a break from Sydney. Our cottage accommodation was perfect, with magnificent views and a sense of solitude.

    The visitor centre staff were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable! My thanks especially to Jad of Societe Overboard for making our wedding anniversary so special, with the extravagant grazing platter and their bruschetta is an absolute delight!

    Kitchen was very well set up, beautiful balcony to enjoy the view, very close to the coffee shop and ferry- away far enough from the campers as there was a little noise coming from there.

    I love the location. The island is right in the centre of the city. Sydney harbour bridge seems right in front of you. The camp site is spacious and well set. The tent is clean, the bed and chair is comfortable. It was lovely sitting in front of tent watching the sun set. Big BBQ area with plenty of sitting. There are microwaves, fridges and hot water system for the campers. We brought our take away from Barangaroo, as the Bar on the island closed at 4:30pm. Can be a little noisy when the boat pass by, but it is manageable.

    The location is excellent. The staff were excellent even though there was a problem with our group booking. There are activities and the place is well maintained.

    Very well set up. Pricey but we felt it was exceptional & helps maintain this fabulous site. Well equipped & bed was super comfy.
