    Breakfast was good & a good variety. Location was great, a real jungle feel, The owner Mike was very knowledgeable about the area & offered great advice. Swimming in the river was a bonus at the property & tubes were available to go down the river on. The chef Melanie was equally helpful & also prepared evening meals if requested cooked fresh to order. Rooms were of a good size. Great experience for the children too.

    We loved the river and our agouti cabana was just perfect with its hammock and everything. It is a quiet place surrounded by a well maintained garden. Thank you also for the lovely dinner and breakfast. Bullet tree falls is a bit aside, but the owner Mike helped us to organize a trip to Rio frio cave, pools and falls, which we enjoyed very much. Such a beautiful places with almost no tourists as well as The Pilar (ancient Maya city).

    Mike and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were at home. The Chef is amazing!! She surprised us with exquisite dishes day and night. I would give the food a 10! Desserts were delicious as well.

    Cahune Palms is a wonderful spot situated right on the Mopan River. It is incredibly peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. Wake up to the songs of the birds and let yourself relax in the breeze. The owner Mike is kind and helpful and makes sure your stay is lovely! Mel in the kitchen is an excellent cook - be sure to try the Belizean breakfast :) The coffee is strong and the Belikan beers always cold!!

    I loved the staff, Mike and Melanie were what made the stay so much more enjoyable. The cabanas were exactly like the pictures but better, the food was AMAZING!! By far BEST vacation spot!

    Cohune Palms was exactly as expected. Food prepared by Melanie was amazing, she is so sweet, asked us every night how our day was and our plans for the next day. She even made is a packed lunch for one of our excursions. Mike was very helpful in getting us set up with a day trip to Mountain Pine Ridge and the Rio pools and Rio Frio. I would suggest that either a mini fridge be provided in each cabana or to have a shared fridge that the guests may freely use. The property was beautiful and being on the river made it perfect for what we needed, especially for a quick cool off from the heat.

    The hammocks around the property were so relaxingl! The river was so peaceful and the birds and wildlife were plentiful if you could catch them flying around. Most beautiful little spot in the jungle
