    Quiet location,great views,good breakfast & apparently the evening meal is excellent according to other guests.We did not eat in as we were meeting friends in Castle Douglas

    Beautiful location. Amazing scenery and we were able to walk our dog over the surrounding stubble fields with stunning views.

    Space, glorious space. The room was huge, the bathroom also. Breakfast was devine, and the host superb. Location was spectacular too.

    This was our first visit to Cragadam - and a wonderful weekend despite the inclement weather. We didn't realise that all the guests were seated at the one table for dinner. But it resulted in a fun and enjoyable dinner with great food and conversation.

    The place was wonderful for our family of four (including a teenager). Lots of space for all of us to "chill". The courtyard was lovely to look on to. It is a working farm - so that was a good experience for the kids too. We chose to have dinner one night there - lovely meal! We booked the 3 bedroom family cottage.

    A wonderful overnight stay, en route from the Scottish Highlands to the Midlands. Our room was super comfortable and everything had been thought of - from the local company providing shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and bubble bath to the spare toothbrush and razor. I recommend you stay for dinner....exceptional home cooked food, again, using mainly local and seasonal produce. The honesty bar is well stocked and there is also a super wine list. Breakfast is a delight too! We will most definitely return for a longer stay next time.

    You get a very warm welcome from Cecily and Richard -the accommodation is very spacious and lovely to have a sofa and chair to relax in-the bathroom was very spacious with a bath and shower in the bath which was lovely-overall we would really recommend Craigadam the the Marvell accommodation and fantastic breakfast - thank you for such a wonderful stay x
