    The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was very good and it was a beautiful and quiet location. Guaranteed sunshine too.

    Everything, friendly staff (thank you for bottle of wine, I really needed it that day) huge villa, cosy and big bedrooms, clean swimming pool with fresh watter. Really beautiful town with all flowers and fruit trees. 3 tavernas and two mini markers, you have all you need. We had washing machine, which was a nice surprice, as I done my laundry before leaving, and saved some stress after coming home. As well my beloved two kittens, one black and one calico, who spend all 12 days with us, miss them so much.

    We loved the traditional stone built house, the beautiful walled, private garden, our own swimming pool and the scenic location in the village.

    The location is beautiful and very easy to get to from Chania airport. Although I did not have a car, it was possible to walk down to the nearby town of Almyrida where there are a few more shops and cafes, as well as a beach. Poppy was a wonderful host who made everything very easy for my stay. The apartment was spotless and had great kitchen facilities. I can't wait to return next year!

    It was spacious and clean. We had a beautiful pool. It was a very quiet rural area. Perfect for us who wanted to be away from it all, and just spend every other day at the beach or walking or in chania or at a water park. There is a very good taverna in the village and another one just as you enter. We were surprised to find there was a big pool and s little supermarket in the complex too.

    We stayed in the 2 bed bungalow and it was fantastic. Very well equipped, beautiful pool, lovely complex. Douliana is a lovely village with great tavernas serving fabulous food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and did not want to leave.

    This is a beautiful place in a stunning setting. The staff are pretty much always on hand to help with anything. They are so friendly and approachable, which made the atmosphere lovely. Everything else was just perfect. I would recommend hiring a car though, the beach is a fair distance away. Crete is so beautiful that it would be a shame not to have a car to properly explore it.
