    The apartment was lovely and suited us and our 2 children (4&6) perfectly. The views from the balcony were fantastic and so was the pool with a lovely shallow bit for the kids. The food in the restaurant is really great and the staff were extremely helpful. The area is lovely and peaceful and yet there is a decent mini-mart and plenty of good tavernas 5 minutes up the hill in the local village (one in particular catered really well for our son who is gluten free). The beach down the hill in Almarydia was really nice - about 20 minute walk away. From there you can also catch the bus to Chania or hire a car and go where you like. Perfect.

    The pool is lovely. The bed was very comfortable. The management and staff were very helpful. It is a great place to relax and the nearby village has some really great tavernas. We had a meal at the Emerald (20 Euros pp) which was excellent value and quality.

    Breakfast was amazing in terms of quantity, variety and value, the pool was fantastic and the staff very helpful. They just seemed to do everything nicely, without loosing that Greek simplicity and charm, such as proper nice quality wine glasses.
