    The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel was a refreshing change from the characterless hotel chains I usually stay at in Aberdeen. Highly recommended and I will definitely be staying there again.

    The Finavon is a hidden gem. Superb food in the restaurant, (phenomenal breakfast in particular), excellent location for visiting Glamis Castle. Special mention must go to Chris & Lynne, who went out of their way to be hospitable, friendly and great craic. I can certainly think of no better place to stay, in this area.

    Staff were great, very friendly and couldn’t do enough! We had dinner and breakfast here and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. I asked for some milk to take upstairs so kids could have a hot chocolate before bed and got a little jug of fresh instead of uht cartons
