    Described as "continental," the breakfast each day was more than I could eat, which is rare. Location might not suit everyone, but I wanted quiet, access to Wimbledon Common, which is approx 10 seconds away, and to fast transport into London, which is a pleasant 20 minute walk down or eight pounds/5 minutes taxi ride back late at night. I had one evening meal which was excellent. Staff totally friendly and helpful, and respectful of privacy. I was a bit anxious about the on-street parking, but right outside the pub, the car is probably safer than in a carpark, and the pub gives you vouchers, and so far I've had no jail summons.

    I can not express how much my wife and I loved our stay at the Fox and Grapes. The owner and staff were so polite, kind and helpful. Our room was absolutely amazing and it A/C. The food was excellent and The Full English is true Full English. You must try the Stick Toffee Pudding with butterscotch sauce; it was so good I was going to lick the bowl, but my scolded me, lol. When you walk in you feel like you're home.

    Lovely room above the pub. Great continental breakfast included we added pancakes as an extra which were delicious. Very comfortable bed. Staff were really helpful.
