The surrounding Kleinwalsertal-Oberstdorf Ski Area offers 128 km of slopes in all degrees of difficulty, 50 km of cross-country ski runs and various winter hiking trails. For ski and cross-country rental you get discounted rates at the Mode Sport Kessler in Riezlern.

In summer, the unlimited use of 8 cable cars is included in the room rate. The free local bus stops right outside the Sonnenburg Genuss- & Aktivhotel.

Guests receive a 30% green fee discount and a free starter set (golf balls and tees) at the 9-hole golf course in Oberstdorf, 12 km away.

    A very modern hotel with an extremely good kitchen. The breakfast and dinner were perfect! We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the whole ambiance of the hotel

    El personal amable se esmeró en atender necesidades dietéticas y en una celebración de cumpleaños. La sala de yoga es muy bonita y tiene ventanas con vistas al paisaje de montaña.

    - El hotel goza de una ubicación ideal para disfrutar de las montañas de los alrededores. Se puede acceder a los teleféricos con autobuses gratuitos y en verano, si se aloja en el hotel, el uso de los teleféricos es gratuito. -El buffet del desayuno estaba a la par con lo esperado -la cena estaba buena relación calidad precio pero la comida no era extraordinaria. - Zona de sauna/bienestar grande y moderna

    La calidez y amabilidad del personal, la comida buenísima, una habitación amplia y cálida y moderna con una vista magnífica, y la ubicación del hotel increíble. Lo recomendaría sin duda y sin duda volveré.

    Wir hatten ein Superior Doppelzimmer gebucht und der Bergblick war traumhaft. Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr hochwertig, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Das Hotel ist nicht im Ortkern, dennoch gut angebunden und für die Entspannung zu Zweit ideal.

    Frühstück und Abendessen abwechslungsreich und sehr gut. Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine wunderschöne Aussicht von unserem Zimmer ins Tal und auf die Berge.

    Gute Lage, das Essen vor allem am Abend hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Da sämtliche Busfahrten und die Bergbahnen im Preis eingeschlossen sind, sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

    Das Hotel liegt ruhig an einer Seitenstraße. Der Bus hält vor der Tür. Das Essen war überragend. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam.
