    Ginanthi is located 5 minutes away from Crystal Bay and is the perfect place to stay to visit all the main attractions on the West Coast of Nusa Penida. The place is owned by a warm and welcoming family that will make you feel like home by cooking you breakfast (try the Banna pancakes) and by accomodating all your needs (e.g. island tours, scooters, transportation, etc). Highly recommended!

    Great location and value for money!! I stayed here for two nights in July. It is a small family run business. Septa the son the of the owners speaks really good English, he was able to offer great local information about the island. The roads in Nusa Penida are very bad if you are not experienced driving a scooter off road. It is not worth the risk, I hired Septa to drive me around on his scooter and he showed me the main places in the West of the Island. He also realised I did not have a lift back to the port so dropped me off for free the next day. If you're into supporting local businesses and looking for a relaxing stay, this place comes highly recommended. Enjoy :)

    The host was very friendly, courteous and good available. He organized a lot for us, like special trips early in the morning and helped us with tickets for the fast boat. The breakfast was very good and we only wait a few minutes for it. We would recommend this stay!

    The owner arranged us the way from the ferry, he rented us a motorcycle and gave us good advices for what to do on the island. Very friendly Septa 😉

    We had a very good experience with Ginathi Cottage! The bungalow was a good size and it was nice and cool with the aircon. The breakfast was great, and you get supplied with both towels and soap! The wifi was not that great, but it didnt really matter as we were out exploring the whole day. The host and his family was really cute and we had a great time with them. They can drive you around the whole Island- which was super, as the roads are quite scary and difficult to drive on! Recommend buying the tour from them. We now feel like we have gotten new friends on Nusa Penida!!- as the host was so friendly and welcoming. Would deffinetely come again!

    The room was really clean, breakfast was great and was served to your room. Septa and his family (the hosts) immediately made us feel welcome and were so friendly and helpful for our entire stay, from picking us up from the boat to booking us tickets for snorkeling and boat rides. Septa personally arranged to take us around the island on bikes to some really great places. He had also offered us scooter rental, but as we were not so confident (the roads can be difficult for first time riders) we opted to go with him, which turned out to be a great decision. He acted as our personal guide and even joined us for a swim. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.

    We had a relaxing time at this pretty bungalow within a 20 minute walk down to crystal bay (4 mins if you ride a scooter). Cottage equipped well with Kettle with coffee and tea, hair dryer which is always a bonus, and a nice hot shower. The room itself is spacious. Air conditioning is very good. Gede was an exceptional host, offering advice and tips in person at check in and available on WhatsApp.

    What a find!! For the price I paid, I was expecting the bare minimum but was massively suprised. We arrived in Nusa Penida with some ideas of what to see but no real plan. Septa (who is just the nicest man I've met!!) Arranged us transport from the harbour then within 5 minutes of arriving had helped us plan and book the rest of our stay. It just made everything so easy. Honestly, this guy went above and beyond and we will never forget him!! Strongly recommend staying here! Room was beautiful and comfy and cosy, 5 mins walk to a few restaurants, fab bathroom and a mini fridge (much needed!). 10/10!!

    This is a cottage house located in the jungle. Surprisingly, no mosquitos here! Convenient location close to the beach and cafes/shops (if you think scooter). WiFi isn’t fast at all, but enough for a video call. Amazing hosts and great hospitality! They are communicative and very helpful. Will come here again!
