    Our stay at Golden Apple was great. Bruce is such a nice host and all his staff will do the impossible for you to have a great time. Castara is a quite and nice little town. It is perfect for someone who is not looking for a turistic place. Every day is very relaxed. You can buy fresh fish from the market and cook it at home. You can walk easily to the beach and spend your day swimming, snorkeling, tanning or just hanging around enjoying a nice local beer. Right by the beach there is a bar and there are a couple of local restaurants who can cook you local food. We rented one day a car and we went discover the island. It is super easy to talk to locals and to see their way of life. Another day we went for a boat tour. Please note this is the paradise for someone looking nature, and not a crowd and turistic place. We had such a great time. If you are looking for a luxury place with all the amenities Tobago shouldn't be your choice.

    This is Caribbean village living. Very laidback, very island life. Friendly locals, small but beautiful beach with beachbar, great fun in the waves, local style food, not much in the way of food shopping. But somehow it works. Both bedrooms have AC which is wonderful and necessary. Walk to beach pretty steep, just take it slow if like us you are not in the first flush of youth.

    If you want a place to relax it's very quiet and the beach is walking distance from the Apt and it is great.

    The spectacular view from the patio overlooking the village enjoying the sunset. It was more than I expected absolutely beautiful. The place was clean, a/c and ceiling fan made it more comfortable. Bruce is the best host. He is most helpful and pleasant. His parents make the best bread, buns, tarts etc. We did not want to leave. Will definitely return.

    Desde que vi la villa en línea me enamoré de ella, todo lo que esperaba y más. El anfitrión Sr. Bruce y su familia fueron más allá del deber para ver que mi nieta y mi madre la pasaron muy bien allí. Gracias Sr. Bruce una vez más
