Breakfast was one of the best I have tasted away from home in a while. Owners/staff all very welcoming and helpful.

The room was very tired, the carpet was separating and the floor very uneven. The wall paper was peeling and splitting in the corners and a lot of stains. The plumbing had air trapped in it or something amiss as the pipes made a lot of noise in the bathroom when other rooms used facilities (a pipe outside the door also made a lot of noise !) The bed was also very tired and if you lay near the edge it would collapse and you slid out. The door was also catching at the top and was if anything a hazard as took a great deal of effort to open ! I dont know if this was a designated room for guests with dogs (we did mention we had two dogs but they slept in the car boot!) but I would not recommend room 8 at any cost.
