A short drive from Durban, Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge borders many acres of national park and is surrounded by picturesque African bush.

The lodge rooms at Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge are connected with the bar and pool via wooden walkways. They feature air conditioning and a bathroom with shower. The chalets have catering facilities.

Guests booking the self-catering chalet can pre-book dinner in the lodge's dining room at a surcharge.

Close to attractions such as the Umfolozi Game Reserve and Isimangaliso Wetland Park, Gooderson Bushlands Game Lodge boasts a central location in Zululand. Guests can take a charming walk along the nyala trail or enjoy a refreshing drink overlooking the water hole.

Game drives, game walks and visits to the nearby DumaZulu Cultural Village as well as to the Cheetah park can be arranged at an additional cost.

    Location and also the land the lodge is on are really nice. They have Zebras, Giraffes, Nyalas, Impalas and Wildbeasts on property. The viewing deck is a nice place to relax at. Cleanliness was top. Honestly the lodge would have the potential of being a 8.5 - 9.0 lodge if above mentioned things would improve. Game drive was really good!

    Loved the layout of no 7 Nyala lodge. It was comfortable, and plenty of space.Perfect for families with little ones! Enjoyed the buck, giraffe and birding. Will definitely return, and recommend Bushlands.

    We arrived to receive a warm welcome form the staff. The location of the rooms are great and we were fortunate to look over the swimming pool area, which is full of bird life. The food was fantastic and really good value for your money. Much more than what we expected. Lovely pub where when we found out that the communal TV - DSTV was not working, which would have prevented us watching some sport we wanted to watch the following day, they immediately made a plan and sorted it out. We requested additional pillows and were accommodated as well. A really great stay in a great location and their view site lounge over the water hole is fantastic.

    The Staff are kind and caring, my husband & I took ill whilst on holiday and they made a special trip to Hluhluwe to purchase our medication for us. As I cannot walk without help our Breakfast & Dinner was delivered to our chalet for us - always with a smile and without any expectation of something in return for their effort. They make this resort what it is AWESOME!!
