    Great location, very close to the beach. In a neighborhood with many restaurant options. Clean and felt traditional. Easy check in (but take note of check in closing at 7pm). Kitchen and lounge area great!

    The in is located in the part of the city where most restaurants are, and the beach is also very close. The staff is very nice and our room was big and comfortable.

    The place has a familiar atmosphere and is located in a pleasant area. There are nice restaurants and shops nearby. The beach is about 8 minutes away and very clean. The owner is very friendly and helped us a lot.

    Very welcoming but easy to hang out and feel comfortable. Good kitchen facilities and close to where we needed to go each day. It felt like a genuine Japanese guesthouse with some modern touches

    The location is perfect, only 5mins to the shirahama beach and 10 minutes to the shirahama bus station. The house is a traditional Japanese house, which makes me feel like living in my own house. The house owner is very nice, willing to share with you. Also, there is a nice kitchen, which welcome for everyone to use. You can buy some food in the daiso and cook by yourself. Strongly recommended.

    The guesthouse has a comfortable, welcoming feel, it is quite funky looking, everything you need and coffee and tea which I thought was great for the excellent price. I really enjoyed being there. The host Takame was fantastic, very helpful she even have me a lift to the cliffs to explore before walking back. Takame speaks English very well and understands Australian humour well so we both had quite a few laughs, she has a good sense of humour! Short walk to access the beach, main bus line and local shop restaurants. I will have good memories of Shirahama due to Takame hospitality.
