    The room looked freshly decorated and was beautiful and comfy

    Real highlight was how friendly the staff were - we weren't checking in until later (approx 9/10 pm) and the chef had stayed later in case we needed to eat. The Lady who checked us in and looked after us that night was so friendly and down to earth - great to talk to. The room itself was sparkling clean, and super comfortable (we all commented on how comfortable the beds were). The bathroom was very modern and the shower stayed hot, despite three people using it consecutively. Plenty of towels, and generous tea & coffee making facilities. The pub itself was beautiful, we'd love to return in the summer to experience the beer garden

    Beautiful quaint place. Comfy beds, newly refurbished bathrooms. A great stay for us as we were only passing through overnight. Friendly staff - 😊💜

    Breakfast was excellent, cooked from fresh while we waited, lovely and hot as food should be. Had carvery previous afternoon was excellent hot and well cooked. Room was clean and tidy with everything you needed.
