    We loved our stay at Heliconia Grove, it is a lovely little wooden lodge right next to a stunning beach. Free sun beds on the beach, kayaks and your own little private plunge pool. The room was spacious with a lovely shower area. The kitchen was sufficient for quick meals, however we used the BBQ area more and also walked to the restaurants close by. They also have giant turtles in an enclosure. We would definitely stay here again. We ordered breakfast for the mornings which was lovely. (plus you get to feed the turtles with the left over fruit peels) The ladies at reception was friendly and very helpful - Thanks Hazel and Maryvonne.

    Our flight was delayed by 4 hours however Maryvonne was very helpful in rearranging our transfer. Due to this we had to catch a later boat from Mahe which was a shame as we lost time in Praslin. Brilliant location within walking distance of some small shops and restaurants. There is a more lively bar (called Chill Bar) located further approx. 2km down the beach which has music etc. on. Whilst on Praslin we visit Anse Lazio which we loved, you can catch a bus simply enough near to the accommodation. We also carried out a day trip to La Digue which was kindly organised for us by Maryvonne. Be sure to take the kayaks out and make use of the bbq area (local fish can get brought from the village at approx. 4pm each day). All in all a great stay!!

    The place is amazing! The apartments are very comfortable and very complete! You have everything there to cook. The beach is fantastic and you have chairs, towels, kayak... everything to spend the day in the beach!

    The manager is very proffesional. She helped us with our trips and when our 16 months old son had a small accident she was ready to help. Beach nearby is great and suitable for kids. Houses are spacious and well equiped.

    The cabins are really big with a separate bedroom and living room. It is also super quiet as there are only 8 units on the property located in a beautiful garden from which you have direct access to the beach. The beach is mostly empty because it is partly theirs and few people walk by. The good thing about this place is that you can pull one of their comfortable sunbeds to the beach, creating your own private spot as opposed to hotels who have a row of sun-beds and parasols already parked out.Privacy and quietness is the name of the game here. The beach is lovely, clear blue water and sandy, no stones or coral in the way. And then there is always your private plunge pool to cool off. The 2 ladies running the place Mayvonne and Hazel are amazing. Very friendly and attentive , answering all your questions and providing anything you need.

    The accommodation is self catering, but we had booked breakfast that was brought to our room every morning at the time we agreed. The staff is friendly, Hazel came to greet us very morning with a big friendly smile and they even let us keep our villa until later in the afternoon on departure day. It’s only a 6 minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. The beach is gorgeous, the villa comfortable, spacious, fully equipped. The plunge pool was the ideal place to have a coffee or a beer after a hot day. The reception arranged a taxi upon arrival and a rental car. Everything went smooth and without problems. Upon booking, the reception answered emails immediately, they are very effiscient.

    The service was excellent, I felt welcome and taken care of at all times. The villa itself is beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and I loved having my own pool and the outside area. The location can't be better, right in front of one of the nicest beaches in Praslin.

    Very spacious and comfortable challets near to the wonderful beach. There is a barbecue place where you could prepare your own meat or fish (if you could manage to find and buy in the little town neerby)
