    The bed was very comfy and yes the croissants were excellent! Very good array of breakfast items and seriously good coffee!

    Room was clean and beds comfortable! However small and heating control complicated and without explanatory info! Bathroom clean and shower good but no bath which I would have liked. Reception staff a bit surly as were some of the breakfast staff. I asked if I could take my mug of tea to my room after breakfast as it was too hot to drink quickly and was told no! Despite my assurance that I’d return it! The breakfast buffet was not good! The cooked food limited, poor quality and frankly inedible. Continental side, ie croissants, cereals and yoghurt! - limited and just about ok! All in all very poor value for money!

    Really nice hotel, comfy beds, excellent breakfast, stayed to go to Epsom races and it was 2 minutes walk, we also had tea at the pub across the road and the food was good.

    I stayed there to go to my friends birthday. Location is great Had a nice walk around Derby racecourse. Very nice restaurant Next to the hotel. Rooms at holiday Inn are spacious and comfy Beds.
