    I love these people. Lina & Oscar are most hospitable people I've ever met during my trips to more than 40 countries. Nothing was a problem: early check in, airport transfer, additional breakfast (extremely delicious). They offer half day tour around San Rafael, showing great spots almost without people. Their recommendation concerning "Tilapia" was hit ;). Thx for all Lina & Oscar . You are welcome to Poland. It will be a pleasure host you in Krakow ;)

    It was very nice, the hosts are very helpfull and friendly. They showed us San Rafael and closely area. Hostal Escazu is very close to Market Square. Transfer to the airport and other facilities are possible. We could recommend this place :)

    The host are very nice and welcoming. The common area with the frigde, the tables etc.. I would definitly recommend ! The location is calm as a bit out of the center (small walking distance) however i do not understand why they do not put the name of the hotel near the entry door as it could be difficult to find. (Search for a grey door in front of the footbal field and look at the number on the electric box. You will see flags on the first floor terasse that is typical of hostel.)

    Hostel Escazú is highly recommended. Oscar and Lina were very friendly hosts. Oscar even took us to a hidden waterfall. The room was also very good and clean. At the first moment we could not find the hostel. Lina finally stood on the corner of the street to pick us up. The hostel is located in front of the soccer field, you can recognize it by the gray door. If we come back to Colombia we would definitely go back to this hostel. We had a great time.

    I don't speak much Spanish, but the owners made sure nothing got lost in translation--really lovely and welcoming! The bedroom was just as expected and very, very clean. Great location as it's close to everything but not right in the middle. Things are loud in Guatape, that can't be helped, but the noise here didn't last late into the night like on other streets.
