    The hostel was simple, clean, no pretensions. Staff were great and the location was easy to find. It reminded me of the older communist era resorts I stayed in, and in decent condition.

    The reception staff were excellent and super friendly and spoke English really well! Even the cleaners say hello to you! I appreciate being able to check in after midnight after a late flight. The hotel was more than adequate for my very short stay. There is a supermarket just down the road. Great start to my trip to Slovakia! The guy at reception called a taxi for me to take me to the train station.

    The Hostel is great for travellers. It was clean, comfortable & good value for money. You share 1 bathroom between 2 rooms (which is good but also see what i didn't like) Quiet area. Close to Centre (15 mins walk) Supermarket around the corner. The reception staff were friendly & spoke great English. Typical old tower block hostel (which i love) Coffee machine in the foyer :)

    Very good budget option. We were a company of 5, a family of four with 2 small children and one more adult (me), and we could get two rooms with a common bathroom and a common balcony - just perfect for us. The staff members were nice and helpful. Wifi worked OK.

    Wi-Fi is good, quiet area, center is close and nice green park is near the hostel. Heating helped us as there was very cold outside in May

    We arrived an hour before checking in and they allowed us to check in earlier. Also we expected that we will have private room and common bathroom, but they have one bathroom for 2 rooms and that night there were no people in the second room, so we had a private bathroom too. Bed was really cozy and mild and it was clean there. Also they work 24/7, it's important.

    Very nice place, people doesnt speak english but the woman at recepcion is very nice and she explain me better than she con.

    Very good value for the price. The hostel has a very basic standard but fully consistent with the price and expectations for this kind of accomodation. The building has 4 floors (lift inside), 24/7 reception desk and offers room with basic furniture (standard of 80's, early 90's I would say). There are shared bathroom (one for each 2 rooms, at least i my case). The location is good, ca 15-20 mins from the centre and old town, 25 mins from railway/bus station. The area is queit, parking by the building. If you look for good price and decent accomodation for trips, city/sightseeing the place should fit you, if you expect high standard - it doesn't but you need to pay more money.

    Excellent cheap accomodation, highly recommend for short stay in Kosice. Silent, despite of location close to the city centre.
