    Friendly helpful staff on arrival. Great secure parking for the motorbike. We had a room on the first floor. The room was lovely and very large. The bed was comfortable and everywhere was lovely and clean. The bathroom was great. There is an onsite restaurant which serves lovely food and has great friendly staff. Breakfast here was very good with a great choice. The smoked salmon was lovely. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the longest castle in the world. It was well worth a visit but standing on top of the tower with a thunder storm going on around you wasn't a good idea lol The views were fantastic though. Another great find and one to keep on the list in case we are in the area again.

    This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel in general looked clean and pretty modern. Also our room was spacious and very comfortable which was especially enjoyable after a long day visiting the surrounding area. The hotel is conveniently located near Burghausen's castle and old town which was very nice! The hotel had a lovely spa area and I got a great foot massage. The restaurant at the hotel had delicious German food and the waiter was very friendly. Breakfast was also pretty amazing - a lot of choice and tasty food. Overall we had a very positive experience with this hotel (parking was free which was a plus for us) and really great value for the money we paid. Highly recommend and will definitely stay there again in the future!

    The staff at the reception was very friendly and knowledgeable enough. The room was tidy and the amenity was good enough. The location of this hotel is the best for the visiting the castle. There is a nice cafe just the opposit side of the traffic corner for the lunch !

    Best hotel to stay in, be it for business, or pleasure. Staff are more than helpful, hotel is very well maintained, and certainly the best breakfast in the area!

    It was my third visit and stay at Gloecklhofer in Burghausen ! The reception staffs are very friedly and kindly and knowledgable. The guest room was very tidy and clean. The amenities are nice and satisfactory. The breakfast is always very good as a lot of kinds of foods are prepared especially half boiled egg, ham, bread, fruits and teas. The heater in the bath room is very convenient for me to hang some wares whch I have washed...f^-^;

    We were traveling with two medium-large dogs and they were lovely to allow them to stay. The staff were exceptional and friendly. The hotel was very clean.
