    La habitación era muy amplia y estaba limpisima. La localización és estupenda. A 15 minutos andando del centro y sin las molestias del bullicio

    Really good size room for 2 people. Bathroom seemed to be recently updated and clean. We really enjoyed using the rooftop lounge area (which has a pool and a small jacuzzi) at the Hotel Splendid next door, which you can use as a guest at Hotel Gounod. The views out over Nice's rooftops and a glimpse out to the ocean of an evening were stunning. The location is great for day trips out of Nice as it is a short walk up to the top of the street to get to the main train station. It is also more than easy to walk down the Promenade, through to the main shopping area, or further up to the old town.

    The hotel was cute and had a French-looking style which was nice. Room was a bit small but that was okay. Toilet was nice. Location was great! Pretty, safe and clean area.

    The location is perfect, especially NOW since the new tram system has been built and there is a stop on Boulevard Victor Hugo, about 4 minutes way. It's also a short walk to the railway station at one end, and Promenade des Anglais, at the other. Since the hotel is in a residential district, it is very quiet and peaceful. The beds were super comfy and best of all, we had fridge in our room!

    Property was handy to the beach front and to train station.the room and towels are cleaned daily and you can have your bedding cleaned as often as you like. Staff are friendly and helpful and speak excellent English if your French is a tad rusty like mine. You can use the sister hotels pool and facilities for free which is a great bonus that view from the roof top terrace is amazing.

    A traditional french town hotel, reception staff very helpful and welcoming. Our room was a double room on the 5th floor over looking the road above the entrance to the hotel. Bed comfortable, clean towels and bedding changed daily, On-suite with bath and separate shower unit. Central location, 5 minutes walk from Nice Ville station, sea front 5 minutes walk, shopping centre 10 minutes walk and the old quarter of Nice 10 to 15 minutes walk. My wife and l decided not to take up the breakfast option at this hotel, so unable to give a comment. So many breakfast cafe's within Nice to choose from, which offer good options and value for money.
