    Beautiful colonial style Hotel in quiet position, once the traffic from the main road dies down. Beautiful garden restaurant with chinise and thai style food. Staff is extremely helpful and caring, namely Mr. Ko Thet.

    Very nice staff!! And great help from mister ko Thet, who helped me a lot Findling my way through thw town - including a Personal tour of some buildungs from George Orwell!! Thanx a lot!! Very nice kolonial style of the house!! Good food and drinks in the nice garden and Restaurant!! 😊

    The reception were extremely helpful. We were collected from the station and they arranged onward travel too and gave lots of useful info about Katha and George Orwell. Great breakfast buffet, lovely garden to sit in and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a lively old world charm too and everyone is very friendly. Best hotel in Katha!

    stayed 3 nights here. I arrived late night, but these wasn't problem. Mr. Thet wait me there.A bit prblem was with my problem, but immediately I got an other one. Mr Thet organised a private car for me to the Zalon Taung for reasonable price, and bought the minibus ticket to Mandalay. I got a map with sights of the Burmese Days. The buffet breakfast plentiful and tasty, but mostly local foods (noodles,rice).
