Situated in a green and quiet part of Eger’s baroque city centre, Hotel Korona provides a large spa area, exclusively for guests’ use, as well as a 220-year old wine cellar. Wi-Fi access is free of charge.
All of the air-conditioned rooms have a private bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer, satellite TV and a comfortable sofa. Some rooms feature a hot tub and an open fireplace.
The Korona’s spa area consists of an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, Finnish and infrared sauna and a solarium. Guests can also enjoy playing billiards or darts in the games room, or visit a permanent Beatles exhibition on the premises.
Breakfast is offered every morning either in the restaurant or on the terrace of the Korona during summertime, serving Hungarian specialities and international cuisine. Guests can choose from a wide range of wines from the 220-year old István Wine Cellar and Wine Museum.
Eger is about 120 km from Budapest. Eger’s Basilica and the Main Train Station are only a 10-minute walk from Hotel Korona.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast which was very rich and very. The wellness was great. And the cherry on the top was the massage. If you can try it.
