    Unique historic property in the heart of the French Quarter, a few steps from Bourbon Street but an oasis of calm and comfort behind the front door. Staff welcoming, helpful and always around. Excellent pastries at breakfast too! To stay in a centuries old property in the heart of New Orleans was very special.

    Gorgeous bijoux hotel with history in awesome location, lovely helpful staff, even the lady who cleaned the room was super considerate, liked the origami on the towels, lots nice touches - love the courtyard with the fountain and how there were candles at night, the unassuming entrance from the street - it was truly the perfect base camp from which to discover NOLA. I had a check list of so many places and every one was a stones throw from the hotel I couldn't believe this incredible location, particularly being so close to Preservation Hall, where the house jazz band will massively blow your mind, and Brennan's restaurant, which is incredible on every level, even the neighbourhood wine bar Longway, 3 doors down was a great hang out for drinks and dinner in the courtyard or even sat at the bar. Sneaker Politics is cool nearby store too.

    Este hotel está situado en el corazón del barrio francés de Kent, a poca distancia a pie de la historia y la vida del centro histórico. La peculiaridad de una propiedad histórica única le dio un toque especial al lugar. Por la mañana había desayuno continental gratuito mientras que en todo el día se ofrecía café, zumo y coca/sprite/agua. Hay una zona de patio preciosa detrás del establecimiento donde se puede desayunar o planificar el día.

    This was our first visit to New Orleans and picking this hotel was the best decision. My boyfriend and I had never been, so after some research I chose this hotel and couldn't have been happier! After our flight was delayed by 6 hours we arrived at the hotel around 1am and were greeted at the door outside. From the moment we got there until we left, every staff member was friendly and great to talk to. It does not feel like a typical hotel, it has a lot of character and charm (especially with the canopy beds and chandeliers). We had a balcony room overlooking toulouse street with bourbon street less than 100 feet away. Even with bourbon street so close it's very quiet inside the room. One random thing we really liked was how good the water pressure was in the shower. Also the fridge stocked with ice cold soda and water is an awesome little bonus. It's an awesome location right in the center of the French quarter! I will definitely be staying here again and again!!
