Very friendly staff. Matagami is a remote location, but the hotel has everything you need. Clean rooms, hot water, surprisingly good and quick Wi-Fi and a good restaurant. We had a room at the 1st floor and we could park our car right in front of our room, very convenient. The hotel is next to the Shell gas station which also is a convenience store and where you want to fill up the car anyway when travelling to the north, as the next gas station on the James Bay Road is 381 km away. -
