El Hotel Penelope es un establecimiento de gestión familiar situado en la costa sureste de Corfú, en la pequeña localidad pesquera de Boukari. Está a 60 metros del mar, a 23 km de Corfú y a 12 km del palacio de Achilleion.

El recién reformado Hotel Penelope se encuentra en un olivar y dispone de habitaciones con baño completamente reformado, TV vía satélite, nevera y balcón amueblado. Algunas tienen TV de pantalla plana.

Todos los días se sirve un desayuno continental que se puede tomar en el porche, junto a un jardín de árboles frutales. El Penelope cuenta con bar, taberna y aparcamiento y conexión a internet gratuitos.

El Hotel Penelope está a unos pasos de la playa más cercana, donde hay una taberna de pescado. Además se encuentra a 10 minutos como máximo de las playas con bandera azul de Agios Georgios, Issos, Santa Bárbara, Vitalades y Moraitika. El personal organiza excursiones en barco a diario a Paxos, la Laguna Azul y Albania.

    I was so glad and happy to stay in this hotel - amazing place, where you have everything needed! I did the last minute booking for one night and arrived almost at midnight after my emergency check out from the previous hotel and the owner was so nice to give me the best hospitality and did his best for making me feel comfortable. Although Penelope hotel was fully booked for the next days he recommended me a good place to stay for the rest of my vacation, I am so grateful for that! :) Thanks for all and I hope to see you soon! <3

    The owner Kostas and his family were so friendly and the hotel was so clean and tidy. Food was very good and the pool area was great with its' outdoor bar and we had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this for a quiet holiday!

    Good Breakfast - good range of food (eggs, toast, cereal, fruit and more) and good quality. Kostas - very kind owner and helpful. Location- very quiet and pretty location with a sea view Facilities - clean (pool, communal areas, bathroom and bedroom.)

    This is a fantastic hotel and we could not have asked for better hosts. I was a little nervous before we arrived that it would be too remote but there are plenty of tavernas nearby, and Kostas really helps to organise excursions and gave us a lift into Mesonghi to get the bus to Corfu Town which was so helpful. We did walk back from Mesonghi one evening and it took about an hour and you do need a torch but it was a pleasant walk! We had a fantastic week and I would recommend this as a place to stay to get away from everything and really relax.

    Lovely pool, super friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. It felt like home to come back to, v easy to chill, have drinks at the bar and yummy breakfast in the morning.

    The hotel is indeed family-run (=small), and either very new or very well kept (we didn't ask :)). The rooms are smaller, but it was not an issue for us. The matrasses were very comfortable, there was always warm water and wifi generally worked well. The pool area is very nice, the pool bar excellent. We were on half-board and enjoyed breakfast very much. The dinner is served in the family taverna ~600m away from the hotel. The stroll was not a problem for me or my brother, but my mother (~60yo) was not so thrilled about it. The village is extremely calm (in the close proximity only one supermarket, 3-4 tavernas, and a touristic office), the beaches are not busy (~20 sunbeds per beach generally belonging to a nearby tavern and thus free of charge as long as you consume something in there), and the sea was very warm and calm too. The first beach is only ~100m away from the hotel. It was also very nice that it was possible to arrange car hire or ship-journeys at the hotel reception.
