    A really special hotel with many fine aspects. Very polite staff who happily spoke English with us due to our inadequate German. It was lovely to meet Oskar, the very dutiful yet friendly guard dog. The room was bright, clean and wonderfully spacious, and staff went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. It's not in the most central area but all the places of importance are easily accessible by tram/metro.

    We liked the building and the interior design. Some of the staff (especially the cleaning staff) was nice, accommodating and helpful. It seemed they had put effort into making our stay good, like providing coffee cups and wine glasses. When we weren't given enough towels on the first day, cleaning staff was very quick to rectify this.

    Beautiful hotel run by a duo of bright, cheerful, helpful sisters - and their cutest dog Oscar. I always believe the best part of any hotel / homestay is the hospitality offered by it, and Schwalbe scores high points on that. The rooms are big and spacious, bathrooms are fully loaded with facilities including Le Ocitane toiletries, hot water kettle and tea supplies. The breakfast is amazing - hot and fresh... which is a a great thing for those who don’t like cold breakfast. The chef was the sweetest - making hot fresh croissants and eggs and coffee for us always with a smile.
